Listed below are the system requirments to install CI Discovery network inventory software.

Operating Systems:

• Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
• Microsoft Windows 2000
• Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Hardware Requirements:

• Processor Speed: Minimum: 700 MHz | Recommended: 900 MHz or higher
• RAM Requirements: Minimum 128 MB (256 MB or above recommended)
• Disk Space: 80 MB

Other Requirements:

• Non-remote audits require the use of a network login script or the use of a small executable file
• Remote audits (functionality found in CI Discovery Remote) require ID and Passwords into workstations and servers

Note on Remote Audits: CI Discovery Remote can remotely audit Windows NT/2000/XP computers. Computers with Windows 95/98/ME can be audited by running a small executable, either directly at the computer, through a network login script or scheduled by using the Windows Scheduled Tasks.

An additional disk space of approximately 1 MB ** may be required for each workstation that is being imported into CI Discovery. (** Includes proportional increase in size of database) Example: If you purchase 500 workstation licenses for CI Discovery, you should have 500 MB of disk space available for the workstation imports. Only 1 MB of space is required for each workstation regardless of the number of audits performed on that workstation.
